About this conference

We are pleased to invite you to the International Scientific Conference organized by the Faculty of Business and Management of Brno University of Technology. Taking place at the university campus from 20th to 22nd September 2012 and entitled "Trends in Economics and Management for the 21st Century", the conference is held under the auspices of Rector of Brno University of Technology prof. Ing. Karel Rais, CSc., MBA, dr. h. c., as part of celebrating the 20th anniversary of the BUT Faculty of Business and Management.

By organising this conference, the Faculty of Business and Management wants to provide a forum for academics and professionals to discuss a wide range of issues related to economics and management. Any contributions dealing with research in management, economics, marketing, accounting, statistics, econometrics, operational research, and informatics are welcome.

The abstracts submitted will be reviewed. All papers accepted for presentation will be published in official conference proceedings with an ISBN assigned. Selected papers will be published in the academic journal Trends, Economics and Management (ISSN 1802-8527). Abstracts are accepted in English only.
